About Jihyun Unni

Jihyun Unni is a blog about the things I read, watch, and listen to.

Unni (언니) means older sister, or a slightly older female figure in Korean. I really am an older sister to my younger sister, but unni is also a term of endearment to all my female friends regardless of age.

I chose this name because I wanted to feel closer to my reader, as well as provide sisterly advice sometimes.

My name is Jihyun. I am a 24 year-old Korean blogger from Seoul. I blog about books, film, and music.

I studied physics and computer science in university and I work in machinery field, but I realized that I am a creative at heart and started a blog to fulfill part of that desire.
